舟舟是一個患先天愚型症也就是弱智的孩子，人們通常叫他傻子，這是一個極大的誤解。 舟舟是武漢交響樂團一名樂手的孩子，特殊的環境使他對音樂有著一種超常的敏感，在某種意義上本片講述的是一個弱智人和音樂的故事。 本片歷時10個月跟蹤記錄了舟舟的生活軌跡，這個被展現的世界是全新的、有趣的、使人驚訝的和令人感動的。 尊重一切生命、強調生命的質量、推崇人文的關懷和人與環境的關係是本片在理性層面上的思考。

Zhouzhou's World

Zhouzhou is mentally handicapped. In his world, there are not complex manipulations of all kinds, but direct and simple feelings and expressions. Music is the source of his happiness. Zhouzhou's father is a musician in the Wuhan Symphony Orchestra. Zhouzhou often plays in the orchestra and in the groups of Peking Opera and Western Drama. He enjoys himself in the world of music and art. Touring with the groups, Zhouzhou joins them in every performance. Off the stage, Zhouzhou is as serious about the performance as the performers on the stage. Zhouzhou is not only a member of the groups but also a joy to everyone. Among these artistic groups, the symphony orchestra is Zhouzhou's favorite. The beautiful classical music makes him forget the stomachache and relieves the boredom. When Carmen, his favourite tune is played, Zhouzhou moves his hands up and down with the rhythm like a conductor. At this moment, he is the king of his musical world. This film records Zhouzhou's life for ten months. It reveals a world which is different, interesting, amazing and touching.
