男人

老蘇下崗，被學校開除後就住在我這兒。極度痛苦時，就用酒精麻醉自己。去北京找了趟工作回來，就接到婚姻介紹所打來的電話。從此電話就成了他的知音。史霖也是單身一人，他的女朋友在廣州。白天，代完他不多的幾節課後，就提著氣槍在外打鳥。晚上在我這裡，有時吃頓飯。但他最終目的還是用我的電話說服他的女友來太原和他一起做些事情。平時大家在一起，沒有太多的愛好。除了有時候在外練練瞄準，在屋裡坐著閒聊之外，更多時間和精力玩是放在了電話聯絡上。終於，史霖等到了女友辭職過來的消息；在我再三追問下，老蘇破了他立志不談女友的口，道出了他幾年前的一段感情經歷。現實不是一本固定的教科書。當老蘇再一次為老問題困惑的時候，那些多年的經驗和痛苦，早已經被他滿腹哲理的牢騷所取代。

作者的話：

"男人有著多層的含義。有時代表逞強，有時代表忍耐，有時代表成熟，有時代表自大，有時代表荷爾蒙，有時代表惡俗勢力。作者以自己的視角，記錄了三個單身男人的日常生活，並對以上 "代表" 進行了剪輯劃分，用意是通過這些沒有具體中心的思想行為，來進一步探究 "男人" 的屬性。

作者簡歷

胡新宇，獨立製作人。1969年4月22日生。2001年2月開始拍DV電影 "過渡"。後中途夭折。2001年底拍攝紀錄片 "男人"。為本人的第一部完整的DV長片。

Mr.Su was single and out of job. He temporarily stayed with me. Mr Shi was single too and teaching fine arts in my university, he often came over to live with us to get some free foods. I held up my video camera and aimed it at them. Actually, it recorded the story of all of us.

Mr.Su received a call from the matchmaker it became a recreation at the time when he was waiting for his new job. For him, it is his duty to transfer the experience of wooing women to me.

Lin Shi whiles away with us all day long, hunting and shooting. The rest of his time is making phone calls to his girlfriend in Guangzhou. Finally he finds his way of living. He leveled his gun at his...

Thi is a film reflecting the real life of young people in China, their feelings and their puzzles. China is undergoing the economic reform process and has achieved freat economic progress. However, on the other hand, the point of view of the values collides the traditional moral system and cause confusions of people, especially the youth.

About the Producer:

Hsinyu Hu, D.O.B. April 22, 1969. In 2000, began to produe the DC movie "Transition" which unfortunately came to a premature end. The DV movie "The Man" is his only completed work.
